Scott Murtishaw
Scott Murtishaw is a Senior Research Associate in the International Energy Studies group. Scott received his BA in International Relations from Stanford University and a Master's in Public Policy from the Goldman School of Public Policy at U.C. Berkeley. Recent research has focused on the impact of market barriers to energy efficiency in the residential sector and assessing various GHG mitigation opportunities for the state of California. He has also worked on topics such as development of GHG emissions factors for electricity consumption; standardized baselines for evaluating CO2 reduction projects in the electricity and industrial sectors; creation of a comprehensive energy balance database for California; decomposition analysis of energy and CO2 emissions; and wind energy policies in India and other developing countries. Scott has served as a guest researcher at the Tata Energy Research Institute in New Delhi and the International Energy Agency in Paris. |
