Lynn Price Contact Info:LKPrice@lbl.gov(510) 486-6519 Lynn Price is a Research Scientist in the Energy Analysis Department, Environmental Energy Technologies Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Ms. Price has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ms. Price has been a contributing lead author and a lead author for a number of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reports including the Second Assessment Report, the report on Policies and Measures for Mitigating Climate Change, the Special Report on Emissions Scenarios, and the Third Assessment Report. She is a lead author for the industrial sector chapter of the IPCC’s upcoming Fourth Assessment Report on Mitigation of Climate Change. Ms. Price has led a number of projects for the California Energy Commission, including technical analyses in support of the California Climate Action Registry, analysis and calculation of electricity emissions factors for California, development of an energy balance for the State of California, and analysis of the potential role of product life-cycle optimization to help reduce GHG emissions in California. Since 1999, Ms. Price has provided technical assistance to the Energy Foundation’s China Sustainable Energy Program related to international experience with industrial sector energy efficiency policies, focusing on the development of a pilot target-setting program with two steel mills and the implementation of the recently-announced program to set targets for China’s 1000 largest energy-consuming industrial facilities in support of the national goal to reduce energy use per unit of GDP by 20% between 2005 and 2010. |
