Independent sources of data on industry have historically been limited.  Berkeley Lab’s staff work closely with government, not-for-profit and private sector organizations to collect and analyze data and information on the performance of energy-efficiency technologies as well as the effectiveness of energy efficiency practices, programs, and policies to provide companies, suppliers, utilities, and energy efficiency organizations with information to support sustainable activities in the industrial sector.  This has resulted in the development of successful agreements, research, technology transfer activities, assessment tools and policy analysis, domestically and internationally.
